A public hearing on the proposed FY 2020-2021 Budget will be held remotely via Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 7:00 pm.   The Board of Finance will recommend the General Government and Chester Elementary School Budgets at this hearing. This is an opportunity for the public to express its comments on the proposed budgets. Citizens interested in participating in the Public Hearing may join by using the instructions below, either online or by using any land based or mobile telephone to connect to the meeting shortly before 7 p.m. that evening.

Based on the public’s comments and in accordance with Executive Order 7I, in place of the annual Town Budget Meeting, the Board of Selectmen will authorize the Board of Finance to adopt a budget for fiscal year 2020-2021. Copies can be picked up at Town Hall by appointment or can be mailed or emailed upon request.
